Here lies a collection of various brakes made for ATK ski bindings, often available in 75mm, 86mm, 91mm, 97mm, 102mm, 108mm, and 120mm widths. These are the replacement brakes for ATK's touring line. If you want to add brakes to a race binding, check out our separate listings for ATK Race brakes or Touring Brakes. ATK has myriad models so please ask if you are unsure which one matches your binding.

AP Brakes - Replacements for bindings that use the ATK "AP" brake system, including newer Crest (2024/25+) & Raider SL bindings. This is the system that requires you to push down the brake pad before turning the heel to lock. Sold in pairs.

Evo Brakes - Replacement brakes for the ATK Raider Evo, Freeraider Evo, and RT Evo bindings. Also compatible with the Hagan Core 12 Evo and Pin Up Evo bindings, as well as the DPS H10 & F15 Evo. These only work with Evo-style heel assemblies, which let you auto-lock the brakes after turning the heel. Brake kits comes with two screws required for attachment and ship as a pair.

Front Brakes - You are unlikely to confuse the ATK Front ski brakes with other models. That’s because they ride on the toe pieces instead of the heels like other bindings. It's a neat system that causes less interference with lateral release mechanisms, making anti-friction devices obsolete. The Front brakes are lightweight like the binding but still seem to do the job. These also work with Hagan Core & Ride bindings and the older ATK Raider 2.0s. Yes, these also ship as a pair.

Hy Brakes - These are the replacement brakes for the Hy Free binding. Includes brake arms, mounts, and hardware.

Push Button Brakes - These are spare brakes for ATK bindings that utilize the push button (plunger) to actuate the brake, including the older Crest (2023/24), Raider 10 & 12, C-Raider, and Freeraider 14 & 16. The brakes will let you mount your bindings onto a new pair of skis with a differing width. These also work with Hagan Pure & Core Pro bindings, BD Helio 350s, and DPS R10 & R14 bindings. Includes two brake units, but does not include buttons, springs, or screws used to attach the brakes to the binding (see Push Button Hardware for those).

Push Button Kit - Same as the Push Button Brakes but also includes the buttons, springs, and screws for mounting to brakeless ATK bindings, including the V-Crest, Kuluar LT, and others. This is also a good way to replace any broken hardware. Sold in pairs of complete kits.

Push Button Hardware - Just the buttons, springs, and screws for mounting brakes to ATK bindings just in case any small parts are broken or lost to the powdery white abyss. No brakes included, just two full sets of hardware for a pair of bindings. Limited availability.

Question from Brent

Do you by chance sell the portion of the ATK raider EVO bindings brakes that is built into the binding base? One of my brakes broke off and the sliding hook and the little shifter mechanism went down the coulior with it.

Going to order replace brakes but wanted to see if this is replaceable as well.
12/29/2025
Answer from Jeff

Hi Brent,

We do not sell that part, and ATK does not offer it for sale either. You should be able to get that item repaired through ATK service. Try emailing customercare@atkbindings.com to see if they can help service that item.

Question from Mikey D

Hi, looking to mount the ATK Freeraider 15 Evo on Moment Wildcat 108 Tours (179)--102 or 108mm brake? Might seem obvious but if the 102s can fit without much (or any) bending, would prefer the tighter fit.

Thanks!

Mike

Answer from Josh O

Hey Mike,

I don't have a wildcat on hand to test width of brakes but usually ATK brakes run true to size so I would recommend a 108mm brake for your wildcat 108. You might be able to get away with the 102 with a little bending but it will be pretty tight.
11/24/2025
Answer from Michael D

Thanks, Josh! I ended up floating the question to Moment, too. This was the response:

For the Wildcat Tour 108, we recommend the 102 brake on the ATK Freeraider. The brakes run wide and the 102 will fit perfectly, right out of the box.

Question from Eric S

Would you mind checking for me whether 108 mm brakes would fit nicely over the Dynastar 108 skis (size 187)? Or do I need to order the 120s? This is for the Raider EVO binding. Thanks so much in advance.

Answer from Matt P

Hey Eric,

The 108mm brakes will fit perfectly on that ski!

Question from Will G

Hi, I have a pair of BD Helio 95s and am looking to mount them with ATK Raider 12 SLs. Will the 91mm brake work for it and do you think I'll need to bend at all to get them to fit? I prefer my brakes to be on the smaller size (and I know ATK run wide) so I'd rather go for the 91 than the 97 if possible. Thanks!
7/8/2025
Answer from Jeff

Will, Yes, there is lots of overlap with so many brake widths.
Generally they will fit 4mm wider, without bending. So the 91mm should work fine.

Hi, I have marker kingpin 120s & took a nasty fall & broke one of the arm - had to remove it. So now its a single brake missile lol. What type of brake do i need to replace it?
5/29/2025
Answer from Carlos M

Hi Andrew,

You need a Kingpin-specific brake, which we sell under the Marker Brakes listing. We currently have the 100mm size in stock.

if I want to downsize my skis from 120 to 90 and reuse my old atk raider 10 binding, do I only need to purchase a new pair of brakes?

Danny, Yes, switching to the 91mm Push Button brake will do it. Don't need anything else.

Question from Amy

I currently have an older pair of ATK RT8 bindings with a 91 brake. I'd like to put these bindings onto a fatter pair of skis (105 underfoot) and wondering if the pushbutton brakes in a 108 would be what I am looking for! I have all the screws and parts to put it together, just unsure of the brake type since the bindings are a bit older.
3/10/2025
Answer from Carlos M

Hi Amy,

There was an ATK binding called the RT 8 that did use the push-button brake! There is one way to tell - if your binding's brake operates with a button, then you need the push-button brake. If it doesn't have a button, then you have something else!

Feel free to send photos of your brakes to help@skimo.co if you still aren't sure and we can confirm visually!

Question from Glen Wisher

I have the ATK Raider 11 evo bindings, but with 102mm brakes.I would like to mount on Iskis which are 92mm underfoot. Can I buy a replacement brake for these bindings and if so what size would you recommend? Also, do you see a freeride spacer for these bindings. Many thanks for your help.
2/24/2025
Answer from Carlos M

Hi Glen,

We do sell the brakes on this listing! You would want the "Evo Brakes", in 91mm. We also sell the Evo Freeride Spacer, on our ATK Binding Parts listing.

Question from Rhys

Hiya, could the 108 Evo brake be bent to fit on a 114mm ski? (RMU North Shore 114), Cheers!

Answer from Emmett I

Hi Rhys,

You would likely need to bend it a decent bit, the 120mm would be a much better fit.

The AFD? plate on top of the break on one of my ATK Raider bindings is missing. The brake is still intake but the sliding piece is missing. Do I need a new brake or is there a replacement part ?
12/14/2024
Answer from Carlos M

Hi Miles,

Sorry to see that! If you are the original purchaser of these binding and purchased them within the last couple years, we may be able to help you out with a warranty part. Please reach out to warranty@skimo.co with your photo of the issue and your receipt (if you bought it from us, you can just reference your order number) and we'll see what we can do!

Hi Miles, sadly we don't have AFD parts separately so you'll have to purchase a replacement brake set.

Question from Dane

I bought the crest bindings that are in the 91mm brake width. I am now hoping to install them on a ski that is 102 wide. I would actually like to switch to a leash system instead of brakes anyways, is there a way to easily and cleanly do this?
12/2/2024
Answer from Carlos M

Hi Dane,

It depends on which version of the Crest you have! If you have the Crest with the push-button brake, the 23/24 version, there is a brake seat cover available should you wish to remove the brake - you can find it under  ATK Binding Parts. The new Crest, with the AP brake, does not yet have a brake seat cover available and therefore should not yet be used brakeless.

Answer from Dane M

Carlos! My man, thank you for this guidance. I have been (nearly) losing sleep over this. I have the 23/24 version and will be ordering the brake seat cover now. This is an epic resource, glad I came across it!

Question from mike

how wide will the 91mm brakes stretch? Found some used ones that i thought might work on some 93mm waisted skis?
9/7/2024
Answer from Carlos M

Hi Mike,

The 91mm brakes will definitely work with a 93mm ski. You might have to bend them a little, but generally, ATK brakes run slightly wide to begin with. It's possible that they'll just slide right on.

)On 3/29 i purchased a set of 91 mm replacement brakes for my DPS R10 bindings. I mounted the bindings yesterday. When i went to change out the brakes I found they are not the correct ones for these bindings. Please see attached pictures. Could you give me a call so we can sort out which ones will fit the bindings? I also bought 2 sets of the Binding covers, these are not the correct ones either. My order number is 302951

Answer from Emmett I

Hi Gary,

Will do! Sounds like you might have the H10, not R10. The H10 uses ATK's Evo style brakes, while the R10 uses the push button style. Same for the brake seat covers, there's an Evo brake seat cover that we don't have yet. Confusing!

Attach FR15 EVO to Blackcrows Anima.
Is 120mm the right brake width?
4/16/2024
Answer from Carlos M

Hi Subaru,

Yes, for a 115mm ski I would use the 120mm brake - it might be possible to bend the 108mm that far, but it would be asking a lot. I think the 120mm will work well.

I need to purchase the crest /raider 86 for my BD helio 350s. I do not see an option to add the rear brake hardware. Do you have any? And if so how do I find it on the website.

James, If you mean the Push button and spring, we do not have those in stock. The only way is to order the Kuluar brake, now called the "Push Button Kit".

What size of brakes for K2 Wayback 106 - 102mm (with bending) or 108mm?

Answer from Carlos M

Hi Witold,

I'd go with the 102mm brakes, you may have to tweak them slightly but overall ATK brakes run slightly big.
